主人公は、息子を亡くし、パナマシティ旧市街で孤独に暮らす女性アリシア。
銃撃を受けて傷を負ったストリートチルドレンの少年チーフと過ごす日々を描く。
共に過ごすうちに彼を取り巻く残酷な環境が明らかになっていく。
しかしある日、少年の姿が忽然と消えていた。
危険を顧みず、彼の居場所を突き止めようと探し回るアリシア。
二人の再会は叶うのだろうか。この映画は、パナマの子供たちの置かれている不遇な状況を見つめ、彼らのかけがえのない人生、そして、閉ざされてしまった彼らの夢に捧げる映画である。

【Plaza de Catedral】
Produced in 2021, won the Audience Award at the Panama International Film Festival.
The main character is Alicia, a woman who lost her son and lives alone in the old town of Panama City.
This movie depicts the days spent with Chief, a street child who was shot.
As they spend time together, the cruel environment surrounding him becomes clear. But one day, he suddenly disappeared.
Alicia searches everywhere to find out his whereabouts, regardless of the danger. Will the two be able to meet again?
This film looks at the unfortunate situation that Panamanian children are in, and is dedicated to their irreplaceable lives and the many dreams that have been shut down.
