Corazón de Mezquite(ルシアの祈り)

「家族の大切さ」・「伝統」・「女性」がテーマとなっている。
主人公、ルシアはメキシコのソノラ州南部に住むヨルメ族の祖父母や父親とともに暮らす少女。ヨルメ族は、彼らの独自の先住民語を使用することを禁じられている。そのため若い世代と高齢世代との間で使用する言語が異なっている。また、ヨルメ族は伝統的な風習を重んじるため、ルシアをはじめとする若い世代の子ども達は窮屈で自由のない日常を過ごしている。そんな環境下でルシアは、ヨルメ族内で女性が弾くことを禁じられている「ハープを奏でる」という夢を叶えようと試みる。伝統・家族・周囲と対峙しながら奮闘する、少女の物語である。
